DETROIT (Tell Us Det) - The Michigan Court of Appeals has reversed an order stopping the Detroit Public Schools' financial manager from closing buildings and proceeding with an academic restructuring plan.
The court determined on Thursday afternoon that the attorneys for school board attorneys failed to show that Robert Bobb's plans "would result in harm that would be irreparable" to the district.
Bobb is being sued by the board, which claims he is overstepping his authority.
End of story: but not for me.
I guess what Judge Wendy Baxter rules doesn’t mean a hill of beans when it concerns the LAW; WTF. Oh well; the sorry arse school board should have done the job when they had the change. GO BOBB GO, fix DPS.
